Qualifications:
- US work authorization
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and typically 4 plus years of experience in HVAC. Technical School or formal training is preferred.
- This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders. It requires employees to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.
- This role may be exposed to variable weather, moving mechanical parts, heights, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude and an ability to learn and grow quickly
- Must be capable of working independently or as a team
- Confident, articulate and professional speaking abilities
- Ability to travel and work overtime/weekend as needed
- Ability to review plans, diagrams and flow charts
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, a high level of trouble shooting skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- General knowledge of electronics is required
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
- Strong knowledge of relative safety standard/good practice and willingness to use PPE
- EPA certification and OSHA certification preferred

Responsibilities:
- Market development for our Absorption Chiller, Maglev Chiller and ERV/Indoor Air Quality product lines in the New York Tri-State Region
- Develop and manage a book of business and project sales pipeline
- Regional channel partner support and training
- Prepare technical proposals through close consultation with customer requirements and site conditions
- Gathering and incorporating competitive intelligence in your territory to better position the Company’s offering.
- Result-oriented performance tracking
- Providing timely and clear feedback to Company management regarding business opportunities, competitive threats, and customer issues.
- Ability to travel with customers for Factory Acceptance Tests in China, when needed
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of HVAC sales with proven track record
- Mechanical Engineering or other technical education
- Requires the ability to read and interpret HVAC/R mechanical, electrical, and piping specifications and project designs to determine job scope of work requirements
- Strong communication skills, high level of performance tracking
- Ability to travel frequently

About the role:
- Design HVAC solutions based on system requirements. This role involves bridging between the customer and the factory to define the chiller specifications
- Produce shop drawings and 3D drawings for HVAC project bids
- Presentations and project briefings
- Developing energy and carbon emission analysis
- Developing chiller energy consumption comparisons
- Regional channel partner support and training
- Occasional travel to customer sites and to industry events
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred
- Operational fluency with AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS. Revit is also preferred
- Experience in the HVAC industry is a strong plus
- Requires the ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and piping specifications and project designs to determine job scope of work requirements.
- Strong communication skills, high level of performance tracking
- Excellent writing skills for production of case studies
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Familiarity with energy management is a plus
