Our article “Sustainable Modular Construction Using B-CORE Stainless Steel” co-authored by Jeremy Zimman, Director of Communications & Holon Building; and Dezhi Yang, General Manager of NY Center were published by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) on their 6th International Conference on Universal Village website.
Stainless Steel is one of the most sustainable and durable construction materials as measured in its Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA). BROAD Group has conducted years of research into the use of stainless steel to improve the safety and durability of high rise buildings. The research has proven the high efficacy of stainless steel, including the “B-CORE” sandwich structure material developed by BROAD Group, for use in all structural load bearing members of buildings.
