November 20th, 2023, Chicago Illinois — BROAD U.S.A. proudly announces that we have been honored the “Cutting-Edge New Energy Innovator Award” by the China General Chamber of Commerce U.S.A. – Chicago in recognition of BROAD’s new endeavors to achieve a more sustainable future through Wind Power. The award was presented by Patt Quinn, the 41st Governor of Illionis, at CGCC-Chicago 7th Annual Gala in Chicago, Illinois. Dezhi Yang, General Manager of BROAD U.S.A. accepted the award on behalf of BROAD Group and its employees.

The winner of this award was chosen by the CGCC Chicago Award Committee on multiple criteria including technology innovation and use of natural resources, market growth, industry leadership, utilization prospects and environmental protection efforts.

This award is a strong testament to BROAD’s long-term commitment and breakthrough innovations in renewable and sustainable energy solutions, on top of its award-winning non-electric central air conditioning solutions.

BROAD recently launched the world’s largest and strongest wind turbine, a 30MW wind turbine that can generate power for approximately 10,000 households. The output of energy doubles the world’s second largest existing wind turbine.

Besides its high efficiency, the wind blades are fully recyclable after 50 years of service life and can be easily transported by container to wherever needed. The newest technology showcases BROAD’s determination to eliminate the use of coal, oil or nuclear as energy sources to a clean, safe and renewable energy source in the face of imminent climate change.

Patt Quinn, the 41st Governor of Illinois presented the award and remarked, “Broad USA, Inc. is honored with the Cutting-Edge New Energy Innovator Award for their game-changing 30MW wind power. A record-setter as the largest, strongest, and most powerful in the industry, their innovations feature typhoon-resistant aluminum alloy blades, a blade tip expanded four times for a minimum 15% boost in annual power output, and a 50-year recyclable aluminum alloy. Their self-climbing crane technology offers unlimited tower height, while a production-to-installation process emits only 10,000 tons of CO2, slashing yearly emissions by 30,000 tons. This recognition underscores Broad USA, Inc.’s leadership in propelling efficient and sustainable renewable energy solutions.”

Besides the record-setting 30MW Wind Power, BROAD has also invested more than $8 billion and devoted over 1000 employees in developing sustainable buildings over the past 14 years. Holon Building, a 100% factory-made modular building, uses stainless steel instead of concrete or carbon steel in all the building’s load bearing structures, and can be a solution to the increasing housing shortage crisis in many population-density areas; along with its high efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness, Holon Building can also significantly reduce the carbon footprint in the construction cycle, which helps bring us closer to a net zero future.

In the celebration of technology innovation, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, former Secretary-General of UN, sent a personal note to honor BROAD’s “Innovation Day” on November 13th, and mentioned “How to find housing for 8 billion people is a tremendous challenge. A housing featured in high efficiency, comfort, safety, and cost effectiveness is the key to the Gordian knot. BROAD Holon Building might be a solution.”

Dezhi Yang, General Manager of BROAD U.S.A., mentioned “It’s a great honor and gratitude for BROAD to be acknowledged among all the innovators and visionaries who share a common goal to build an environmentally-responsible world by utilizing new energy sources. BROAD is anticipated to create more positive impacts in the realm of Wind Power and Holon Building. We are looking forward to collaborating with like-minded businesses to usher in an era of new energy production and more energy efficient buildings.”
